Technical Area Sales Manager - 72

An opportunity to be part of exciting expansion plans with one of the biggest names in Construction. My client boasts one of the most recognised brands across the UK who have implemented plans to increase their market share within their roofing division. This will commence with the introduction of a number of new external salespeople within the refurbishment & new build sectors. 

My client is keen to meet candidates with specification sales experience and knowledge of flat roofing systems/products. Must have a clear understand on how & where to prospect for new business opportunities. Selling into an array of clients/customers including End Users, Local Authorities, Housing Associations, Architects & Approved Contractors. This position based in the southeast is focusing on the refurbishment market, with roof surveys/reports required to demonstrate roof condition/failures. Product alternatives will include a Single ply, Bitumen felt & Liquid system. 

The successful candidates will be a strong negotiator with the natural ability to develop new relationships and grow the current client base and area. Promoting the product range and services by confidently presenting CPDs, attending trade shows and working closely with colleagues from other divisions with the company. Fluid I.T. skills is essential to complete weekly reports on activity levels to analyse efficiency and good practice. Working accordingly to market conditions, having good foresight of forthcoming project opportunities & being aware of the competition offering.
