We are working with a new client who are looking to expand their external sales team with a Technical Business Development Manager to cover the southeast. Candidates being considered must have a proven track record in selling a range of flat roof waterproofing products and systems. Focusing on commercial & industrial refurbishment roof projects, targeted customers will include, Contractors, Architects, Management Practices, Building Surveyors, Housing associations etc.
Must have experience in carrying out roof surveys & condition reports to illustrate failed roofs and advise on the correct alternatives. The successful candidate will be experienced in specification sales in order to understand where and how to prospect for new business to build and manage a specification pipeline they will be responsible for. Must be self-motivated with a 'can do' attitude to utilise their network of previous customers, relationships with local contractors & Local Authorities. A strong & decisive negotiator who can work efficiently within the team, updating management on activity levels and project progression.
