Our client is an established, family run construction company based in East Midlands. Specialising in various major projects across the region, an opportunity has presented itself for a technically minded Design Co-ordinator to join the team. Initially responsible for design management of projects up to 15M including design review, technical input, value engineering, programming and distribution of design information & responding to project status.
A proven track record in construction as a Design Coordinator or transferable skills in construction design (i.e. Architect, engineer, technologist) Understanding of current building legislation with experience in sectors including housing, commercial, industrial etc. Experience in AutoCad/Revit, work to BIM standards, confident in leading design team meetings and work with document control systems.
Additionally, experience working in BREEM projects, ability to review BRUKL assessments or site management or other site based training would be advantageous.
