We are pleased to be working on behalf of our client, a leading specialist in the Insulation sector. They are seeking a skilled CAD Technician to join their design team.
This position will involve creating precise tapered insulation layout drawings for use in estimating, production, and on-site installation, performing U-value calculations, and completing Condensation Risk Assessments (CRAs) for all designs, ensuring compliance with relevant standards.
The successful candidate should have experience working as a CAD Technician in construction, manufacturing, or engineering, along with proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and SolidWorks. Experience with Drawing Express is desirable. Knowledge of insulation products, British Standards for tapered designs, and experience with thermal calculation software is highly desirable. Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills are essential. The role can accommodate hybrid working, with a minimum of 3 days in the office.
